M.E. Bench Press
No better way to kick off the new year than to lift weights. Student Mark R. was my only companion but it was great to hear him be concerned with not working out over the holidays. And I thought I was the only freak thinking that. Way to go Mark!

Raw Bench Press with 6-second, 3-second, and 1-second pauses:
after warm-up 185x3, 205x3*
3-Board Press: 255x3
DB Rows: 80x5 5 sets
DB Bench Press: 75x12 3 sets
Cable Crunch: 60x8, 80x8, 100x8
A little about me
I have competed in both Olympic Weightlifting and Bench-Only Lifting. I competed in Olympic Lifting as a kid. Best lifts of 255 Olympic Press, 225 Snatch, 255 Clean & Jerk. I met many of the great lifters and coaches from the 60's and 70's. After a 20-year break to serve my country I started lifting regularly again and competing in Bench-Only. Best Lift: 419lbs "equipped".
