Comp Bench Press
Raw, Bar, 135x5 2 Sets, 225x2, Put on F-6,
275x1 (I was able to touch easily w/this. Last
M.E. day I couldn't touch), 315x0, 315x0,
295x1, 295x1 Something was wrong with
my setup tonight. Shirt felt loose and wasn't
giving me much pop.
Raw 4-Board
300x4 brought 5th rep down for a PR
but didn't quite touch board since I had
barely made 4th rep. Locked out last
(3/4) rep with great effort.
Strict Mil. Press
135x5, 145x5, 115x8
Shrugs
225x5, 315x5 2 Sets, 385x5, 315x5
Suspended Bar Push-downs (Lg and Med Bands)
4 x 10
Hammer Curls
4 x 10
Bad setup, shirt not "working" right. Whew, glad
I got this out of my system. I went with 5 days of
rest. Too much? Not enough? Stars not aligned? Yet...
I am getting stronger every day.
I am learning to maximize my equipment.
I am a Bench Specialist.
A little about me
I have competed in both Olympic Weightlifting and Bench-Only Lifting. I competed in Olympic Lifting as a kid. Best lifts of 255 Olympic Press, 225 Snatch, 255 Clean & Jerk. I met many of the great lifters and coaches from the 60's and 70's. After a 20-year break to serve my country I started lifting regularly again and competing in Bench-Only. Best Lift: 419lbs "equipped".
