A little about me

I have competed in both Olympic Weightlifting and Bench-Only Lifting. I competed in Olympic Lifting as a kid. Best lifts of 255 Olympic Press, 225 Snatch, 255 Clean & Jerk. I met many of the great lifters and coaches from the 60's and 70's. After a 20-year break to serve my country I started lifting regularly again and competing in Bench-Only. Best Lift: 419lbs "equipped".

T-Bone Strength 1-09-08

Squats:135x5, 225x5, 315x5, 405x3, 495x2
Put on belt and briefs
585x2, 675x1 touch and go on box(bench)

Rack Pulls:225x5, 315x5, 405x5, 495x5 (Bar set just below the knee)

High Pulls:225x5 (5sets)

Seated Rows:3x10

Heavy Side Bends:3x12 (100lb Dumbbell)

Good heavy workout. I decided today that I was going to just not do what I planned when I hit the gym and had the urge to go as heavy as possible. 675 felt like a golf cart was on my back but the whip I got on the bar off the bottom was huge. I'm really learning how to use the whip on the bar on the squat in particular and in doing so I'm able to come up pretty fast. I'll get back to my regular routine next week but a day of just heavy singles and doubles=lots of food afterwards :)
