A random bench workout, first since my bombing at state.
Competition Bench Raw: Barx8, 135x8, 225x5, 275x5, 315x3, 365x1, 385x1*PR
Incline Dumbbell Bench: 100x10 (3 sets)
Pushdowns: 3 sets of 12
Front Raises: 3 sets of 12
Rolling Triceps: 2 sets of 10
Hitting a 20 pound pr in my raw bench is seriously so freaking sweet! I'm more than pleased with that. Nothing else is worth writing home about but hitting 385 is freaking awesome! I cant wait to hit some hardcore shirted benching on Monday. 500 will be mine!
A little about me
I have competed in both Olympic Weightlifting and Bench-Only Lifting. I competed in Olympic Lifting as a kid. Best lifts of 255 Olympic Press, 225 Snatch, 255 Clean & Jerk. I met many of the great lifters and coaches from the 60's and 70's. After a 20-year break to serve my country I started lifting regularly again and competing in Bench-Only. Best Lift: 419lbs "equipped".
