A little about me

I have competed in both Olympic Weightlifting and Bench-Only Lifting. I competed in Olympic Lifting as a kid. Best lifts of 255 Olympic Press, 225 Snatch, 255 Clean & Jerk. I met many of the great lifters and coaches from the 60's and 70's. After a 20-year break to serve my country I started lifting regularly again and competing in Bench-Only. Best Lift: 419lbs "equipped".

Feel free to follow along on the adventure...

Thanks for the comment over on my blog !!
Your training looks terrific --and the USPF certainly is re-emerging in exposure and popularity as the well respected federation it has always been ! good choice in California !!

as for sleep--I find Melatonin-zinc-B6-and magnesium 1 hour before bedtime is a natural way to help..HAH ! but I used to drink red wine before bed and take the vitamins mentioned..and the 2 criss crossed for a middle of the night wake up...but yep--melatonin is cheap to buy and of course, natural and legal.
