A little about me

I have competed in both Olympic Weightlifting and Bench-Only Lifting. I competed in Olympic Lifting as a kid. Best lifts of 255 Olympic Press, 225 Snatch, 255 Clean & Jerk. I met many of the great lifters and coaches from the 60's and 70's. After a 20-year break to serve my country I started lifting regularly again and competing in Bench-Only. Best Lift: 419lbs "equipped".

Feel free to follow along on the adventure...

Pretty good workout. I definitely need to use a shirt that wont damage me as much for a 10x3 workout. It really started to hurt around the 8th set. I'll probably be tattooed now, that's okay! Felt good to hold that kind of weight, and every lift was extremely easy in a big shirt. Being sick definitely had a significant effect on my last performance as I feel strong as an ox. I'm fairly confident that I'll get well over 600 at my next meet, whether I lift single ply or multiply. If I go multiply I think I'll have to go at least 700+ to touch and press so we'll see, depends on the type of shirt I get, or am getting, stay tuned!

I should be in San Diego tomorrow weather pending and I'll do back training then and I'll do triceps training on Friday more than likely given my schedule. Will train with Big Steve next week and get back on track then.
