Speed was extremely fast raw with 315 I mean extremely fast. This mini cycle of all these bands I believe may have helped. Good session today, feel good. Going for a big 3-board and 2-board Thursday I think but it all is according to what Steve has planned. We'll see what happens. Maybe a 650+ 3 board :)
A little about me
I have competed in both Olympic Weightlifting and Bench-Only Lifting. I competed in Olympic Lifting as a kid. Best lifts of 255 Olympic Press, 225 Snatch, 255 Clean & Jerk. I met many of the great lifters and coaches from the 60's and 70's. After a 20-year break to serve my country I started lifting regularly again and competing in Bench-Only. Best Lift: 419lbs "equipped".

We have our openers. Lets do a mini build-up like this:
I think we do Reverse-Band 3-board this Thursday, to feel real heavy weight.
The following Thursday, the 23rd we hit our straight weight 3rd attempts to a 3-Board.
On the 30th our 2nd attempts to a
2-Board.
Last training day Sunday Oct 3rd. Warm-up as if max'ing, go to our usual last raw board and shut it down.
Keep hitting tris and lats really hard right up to the 3rd.
I still think we need to work weights down again just to be sure we can touch again. I would love to work with 3, 2, and 1 boards and even touch (I did get to a half board, but I need to touch and press a weight to get my confidence up). If we do reverse band 3 boards this Thursday we need to work with lighter strength bands (maybe blues, if not monster mini's) to keep our CNS adjusted to heavy weights and to get just a little bit of assistance. What do you think?
Yeah, working down the boards. If you need to touch, cool. I thought that 585 to the thin board was your opener. Take one all the way if you need it. I was just trying to plan a quick high-to-low board cycle followed by 7-day shut down.
