Ass kicker of a workout. Was fairly surprised at the speed of my deadlifts. Lots of speed from the floor and I figured that the iron chamber charts would be great for squatting so I figured, why not? I really have to get my technique down as far as foot placement. I did some olympic style squats and they were ridiculously easy. Others were struggles simply because of differences in stance. I've been competing as a bench only lifter, however, I want to be a very well rounded strength athlete which is why I'm doing squats, deadlifts, and strength conditioning one day a week. So far its been great.
A little about me
I have competed in both Olympic Weightlifting and Bench-Only Lifting. I competed in Olympic Lifting as a kid. Best lifts of 255 Olympic Press, 225 Snatch, 255 Clean & Jerk. I met many of the great lifters and coaches from the 60's and 70's. After a 20-year break to serve my country I started lifting regularly again and competing in Bench-Only. Best Lift: 419lbs "equipped".
Feel free to follow along on the adventure...
