Will this be too much for a
regular Access Day? Not sure. It
is gonna get me stronger.
A little about me
I have competed in both Olympic Weightlifting and Bench-Only Lifting. I competed in Olympic Lifting as a kid. Best lifts of 255 Olympic Press, 225 Snatch, 255 Clean & Jerk. I met many of the great lifters and coaches from the 60's and 70's. After a 20-year break to serve my country I started lifting regularly again and competing in Bench-Only. Best Lift: 419lbs "equipped".
Feel free to follow along on the adventure...

If I were you, I'd drop Womack's on your accessory day and drop the volume on the JM Press. The heavy 4 and 5 boards should be enough volume for your lockout. If anything do your main accessory exercise, i.e. 4-board ICG and then do a high rep finisher for one or two sets. Then hit one set of your upper back complex you have going and that should be good. Too much volume for you could prevent you from recovering in time for our main session Thursday.
I know what you mean. I went back and forth on the direct tricep work. I'm keeping my M.E. Day really heavy/low volume. So the balancing act is volume Sunday night. That why no secondary press movements. I've also switched Overhead Pressing with 4-Board Quad-mini ICG Chart. Appreciate your input.
