Great session. Really was stoked to hit 520 and to hit it as easily as I did. 495 also went up fairly easily on the 4-board. Having my lockout getting as strong as it is really is going to help in the shirt I just know it is. The ultimate goal is a 525 3-board which I think is fairly realistic towards year end. Next week I'm going to work 4 board triples and maybe some 5-board. Great to feel some heavy weight, going to stick with this and I'll throw in some speed and rep work here and there. Will layout a plan tonight for the future!
A little about me
I have competed in both Olympic Weightlifting and Bench-Only Lifting. I competed in Olympic Lifting as a kid. Best lifts of 255 Olympic Press, 225 Snatch, 255 Clean & Jerk. I met many of the great lifters and coaches from the 60's and 70's. After a 20-year break to serve my country I started lifting regularly again and competing in Bench-Only. Best Lift: 419lbs "equipped".
