One more bench day on Thursday, another
light "pump" workout on Sunday night. We'll
need to lift on either Tuesday or Wednesday, doing
only up to our last raw warm-up. I'm so proud to
be part of this group. Tony coming back like a lion,
Dan going from a casual lifter to the international
stage. Scott lost weight and came back in a lighter
class stronger than ever and Andrew hitting 300. Thank
all of you for sharing the vision. You are all winners.
A little about me
I have competed in both Olympic Weightlifting and Bench-Only Lifting. I competed in Olympic Lifting as a kid. Best lifts of 255 Olympic Press, 225 Snatch, 255 Clean & Jerk. I met many of the great lifters and coaches from the 60's and 70's. After a 20-year break to serve my country I started lifting regularly again and competing in Bench-Only. Best Lift: 419lbs "equipped".
